Elizabeth Thornhill, Master Professional Mental Health Coach

Elizabeth Thornhill is a professional mental health coach, speaker, and author who helps women and parents move from pain to freedom. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, Elizabeth knows firsthand the heavy weight of trauma—and the liberating power of healing. Her story is one of resilience: navigating loss, abandonment, and abuse, then finding the courage to confront the past and rewrite the future.

I was born and raised in sunny Southern California, and I have loved every minute of it. I am a wife, a mom of three, and a very proud grandma to five. When I am not caring for my family, you will find me doing what I love most — coaching.

My background is a little unexpected. I spent over 25 years in the swimming pool industry, went to school to become a medical assistant, and have loved science since my very first high school biology class. So when I discovered neuroscience and brain health, something clicked, and it felt like everything in my life had been quietly preparing me for this.

Coaching is my passion, full stop. There is nothing quite like the moment a client has a breakthrough. Watching the scales fall off someone's eyes and seeing God move in their life in real time is the greatest privilege I know, and it is exactly why I do what I do.

My journey into brain health coaching was not planned. It started with a women's study that introduced me to neuroplasticity — the idea that we can actually rewire our brains. I had spent decades believing I was stuck with the life I had, and learning that I could choose to change my mind changed everything. My health improved, my autoimmune diseases went into remission, and a whole new life began.

Today I walk alongside women who are ready to stop believing they are broken and start discovering who God created them to be.

Through one-on-one coaching, group programs, and speaking engagements, Elizabeth creates safe spaces where honesty leads to transformation. Her mission is simple yet profound: to help people recognize that they are not broken—they are survivors who can heal, grow, and flourish.

When she’s not coaching, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her 3 children and five grandchildren, and baking her signature salted chocolate chip cookies.

Healing is Possible

2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."

Healing isn’t about pretending the past didn’t happen—it’s about allowing Jesus to bring renewal where pain once lived. Through His love, the broken pieces of our story are not wasted. They become the very places where His light shines brightest. In Him, we don’t just survive our wounds—we are transformed, made whole, and set free to step into the life we were created to live.
